exactly 1 year in Japan now

I came to Japan last year in this very day, 30th May. It’s already been the whole 1 year now.

きっかり１年前、５月３０日に日本に来た。光陰矢のごとしかと思って、あっというまにかもう１歳日本にいた。

献血

昨日は初めて献血した。しかも日本で献血したなんて、全然思ったこともないな。先週の火曜日は、会社で献血のイベントがあって、登録したんだけど、前の日は歯医者に行ったので、断れた。

で…昨日の日曜日はたまたま名古屋の方でぶらぶらしているとき、献血の場所見つけた。思わず献血をしちゃった。ガスビルという場所でこの献血をして、驚いたことには結構いい場所で、自動販売機が二台あって、自由に使ってもいいし、スナックもあるし、雰囲気としてはすごくプロな所と感じちゃった。

前の火曜日は色々な手続きをしたのに、また今回も色々なことを聞かれて、とにかく４００ccを献血された。以外と場所はにぎやかで、設備も結構一杯あるし、献血中はそれぞれの献血場でテレビがあって、すごく感動した。献血後は確かに少しふらふらしてたけれども、初体験なので、なんとなくすっきりと感じた。

When fall asleep

My interpretation of t-cophony’s song called when fall asleep.

seeing solo version of t-cophony’s “when fall asleep” make me wanted to play this song.

the string arangement used by t-cophony’s seemed could not be done on normal guitar set up. (after seeing his video for about 50 times, I found the tuning that he used is A-E-G#-C#-B-D) There is no where in hell I would set up my guitar to that tuning (for example the 3rd string is actually the 1st high E string etc). So I experiment and found my own tuning for my own style to play this song without capo.

My skill on one hand artificial harmonics is not good enough so I decided not to play that part

although the quality is not good but I hope I can make a little bit of contribution for t-cophony’s fans out there.

MG Unicorn review

Background

I buy this white beautiful beast in 31st december 2007. At that time I went to big shop and they were all sold out, so I need to go to another small shop and finally found 2 pieces left. When Unicorn come out the first time in Japan. It was sold out almost everywhere in big and well-known shop. You actually need to take a queue in early morning before the shop’s open in order to get this one at that time. Luckily I know some small shop that isn’t so well-known so I can get this Gundam.

Pro :

• Cool effect of transformation between the unicorn mode and destroy mode
• Cool rifle design, including the magazine changes effect that resembles real life rifle
• The mechanical is designed by the god of gundam’s designer : katoki hajime. Do I need to say more
• ow have I told about the cool transformation effect, AH I DID!!!, but anyway it was really awesome so I need to say this again for the last time. The transformation effect is AMAZING

Con :

• It’s difficult to do transformation of unicorn to destroy mode and vice versa. I wouldn’t suggest you to change it much. So if you really want to display the unicorn and also the destroy mode, the safe way is to buy 2 of it, one to be displayed as destroy mode and one as unicorn mode. (remind that this product is made of plastic, the more you do the transform process, the more some parts will loose)
• some parts have a loose design. And the feet parts are disturbing the movement angle

Conclusion

If I were to give the score I will give it 90 out of 100. This gundam is one of the coolest gundam design I ever saw (although gold frame amatsu is still my favorite up till now). Anyway the transformation effect alone is enough to make me decided to buy this.

連続でBBQパーティに行った

今日も先週と同じ、またBBQパーティに行った。今回の主催はOICC（岡崎市のボランティアたちの団体）だ。今日もまた色々な面白いひととあったり、喋ったりしたので、また有意義な週末と思う。

まず、OICCのところに集合して、バスを中央総合公園に行った。着いたら、名札をもらって、会費を払ってから始まった。途中で突然雨が降っていたけど、すぐあがったので良かった。ちなみに、ゴミの分別話もあって、それが終わったら、皆踊って、御しまい。

pengeluaran besar deh bulan ini

walaupun baru pertengahan bulan, tapi sudah bisa diprediksikan bahwa pengeluaran bulan ini melewati batas max yang udah gue tentukan sendiri (1/2 dari gaji bersih).

beberapa alasan yang menyebabkan pengeluaran membengkak

• trip ke kyoto yang menghabiskan uang tidak sedikit, tetapi gue ga regret sama sekali uda keluar duit banyak sebab gue menemukan kembali buku buddhis yang dulu sekitar 8 tahun lalu pernah gue liat entah di singapore ato hongkong. dan gue jg bisa liat banyak patung buddha yang besar. And no!! I’m not a religious person.　But I can say this : this trip is one of the most memorable trip I made in my life.
• biaya telp yang membengkak, bulan ini adalah rekor dimana bulan terbanyak gue pake telp
• meningkatnya level barang yang gue beli. contohnya dulu beli susu yang harganya 88 yen sekarang sudah berani beli susu yang 260 yen.
• pengeluaran2 tak terduga lainnya

dulu pas pertama2 datang ke jepang ada 1 waktu dimana pada bulan yang sama gue beli gitar dan Nintendo DS yang menyebabkan pengeluaran dan pendapatan jadi hampir sama pas bulan itu. berarti ini adalah ke-2 kalinya gue mengeluarkan pengeluaran yang cukup besar perbulan dalam 1 tahun tinggal di jepang.

WADUH mata gue plus

Akhir2 ini mata sering lelah akibat kebanyakan di depan komputer dan liat tulisan pun buram (apalagi kanji grrrrr). Oleh karena itu gue coba ke dokter mata. Setelah diperiksa katanya seh mata gue plus 0.75 , nah loh bukannya minus tapi plus. Sekarang masih dalam dilemma apakah sebaiknya bikin kaca mata ato engga ya. kalo bikin pun toh masih dibawah 1, denger2 seh cuma cukup istirahat dan makan vitamin aja kalo masih di bawah 1 bisa normal lagi. Oleh karena itu gue masih menunda untuk bikin kacamata.

BBQ と ライブミュージック

日曜日　５月１１日
初めて日本でBBQをして、すごく楽しかった。雨が降ると中止なので、心配だったけど、晴れなのでよかった。１３：４５に集合するだが、中止かどうか知っていたのは１１：００ぐらいだった。BBQでかぼちゃを切った、色々な美味しいものを食べた。しかも新しい人々も沢山であって、充実した休みと感じた。

月曜日　５月１２日
隣に座っている同僚がライブ演奏があって、見に行った。全部で３組あった。久しぶりにこのようなライブバンドを見て、今日も楽しかった。変化に富んだジャンルの音楽が聴かされて、自分の中のギターリストの魂も沸いてきた。

Trip to kyoto in golden week

This is my first golden week in Japan. And I spent my time with a trip to kyoto. I really enjoyed the moment I had in golden week. FYI golden week is a consecutive holiday in japan and at this time, most of the people in japan are either go home to their parent’s house and or take a trip somewhere.

There are some places where I went that prohibited me from taking pictures. But at least I got these pictures ^^
