28 maret Bday

ultah ke 2 gue di jepang.

pagi2nya ke acara BBQ (ga ada hub ama bday gue seh) terus jalan bentar deket okazaki castle.

balik2 uda sore terus siap2 pergi lagi soalnya acara makan2 bday gue adainnya jam 5-an. pergi ke makan2 sepuasnya, gila dah uda pagi2 makan banyak bbq, sore2nya makan sepuasnya lagi, perut uda kek mo meledak hahah.

terus abis itu dilanjutin dengan karaoke ampe malam. pulang2 uda malam banget deh. waaah cape. tapi seblon bobo gue sempet foto2 beberapa hadiah ultah yang gue dapat. masi ada bbrp lagi yang katanya nyusul seh.

entry 20-21-22 maret

20 maret Jumat.

hari ini libur tanggal merah di jepang. malamnya ada bye2 party temen singapur. dia di jepang cuma belajar bahasa 1 taun terus bakal balik. well kita makan di restoran korea.

hari ini gue mendapat cerita baru. jadi pas makan ada 2 orang afrika juga. pas gue tanya umur nya berapa mereka bilang. taun ini saya umur 30 taun tapi taun depan saya umur 26 taun. nah loh. kenapa bisa gitu . jadi ternyata mereka datang atas nama beasiswa ke jepang. dan katanyabanyak yang gitu. jadi kalo mereka kasi tau umur asli mereka, ga bakal dikasi beasiswanya. dan di afrika tata kelola surat kelahiran masih amburadul dan gampang dipalsukan.

dan katanya banyak sekale temen2 mereka melakukan hal yang sama bisa sampai ke jerman dll begitu pulang, bikin akte baru lagi terus pergi lagi ke negara laen. semua atas biaya negara penanggung (dalam hal mereka ber2 yang nanggung adalah pemerintah jepang). bener2 cerita yang wah bagi gue.

21 maret Sabtu.

jadwal ngeband seperti biasa. well cuma latian 2 dari 5 lagu yang bakal diperform nanti di acara welcoming new employee dan 2 acara wedding temen kantor.

22 maret minggu.

ke library untuk latian parade buat 5 april ( gue cuma cadangan seh) eh pas baliknya ga disangka2 mala ngikut bye2 party temen cina. parah neh hampir semua kenalan2 yang gue bikin disini balik ke negaranya masing2.

dalam bulan april 1 orang singapore 1 orang cina dan 2 orang brazil kenalan gue bakal tinggalin jepang. dulu juga sempat kenal baek ama 1 orang hungaria terus dia juga uda balik juga

japanese wedding style and cooking session

sunday, 15th march.

what a day. at first I went to demonstration of japanese wedding style. wearing a kimono, took pictures. the main bride and groom is people from srilanka. at the middle of the show.

after the event I went to toyohashi to join my first international lounge event. the event is cooking event. so we cook, talk, share and eat together.

my first snow board trip

on saturday and sunday (7 and 8 march) I had one of the most fantastic trip ever in my life yet.

I went on snowboarding trip with groups that I barely even knew actually but it was really fun and exciting. There are 13 of us and I actually only knew 1 of them.

the trip is for 2 days so we spent one night to stay over. the destination is hakuba happoone in nagano. it’s one of the most famous ski resort in japan. it was used to host the winter sport olympic years ago. The scene is really spectacular, I really like the scenery and the place looked so advanced (for example they use magnetic chip set for the lift gate) and there is so much rental shop and course all over the place. the scale is really huge.

comparing to my ski trip couple of weeks ago. this time it was really nice, well of course it costs more too. we went there by car and it took approximately 5 hours before we arrive.

I was quite lucky because I could borrow all the equipment I need to go snow boarding so there is no need for me to cash out for renting the equipment. and to my surprise there is actually 4 of them that actually teach me on how to snow board so it really helped alot. I could go down the hill by my self after the first 2 hours practice. and on the next day I could go alone already. it was really fun time.

the trip was already carefully planned since the beginning, including the cost and what to do at what time. I don’t regret this trip even though it costs me money at the time I wanted to save money the most. it was really fun to snow board, and it’s the first time I knew that I enjoy snow board.

for this trip I spent almost 25.000 yen

it includes :

• renting a car (we share the rental cost)
• onsen 2 times (we go to onsen bath 2 times right after the snowboard session over)
• lift charge for 2 days
• dinner party at lodge
• breakfast for 2 days
• lunch for 2 days
• dinner before we finish our trip
• buying souvenir for people at office

No more free Plastic bag

Starting since last year, Japan has a new rule that when you buy something in the supermarket, you have to pay for the plastic carrier bag.

Of course they need to socialize this before implement it in the whole country. So the starting point of these “Pay for Your Plastic Bag” campaign is different in each region.

Some region already started since last year. My region which is okazaki city has started this since March 2009. Which means it started since yesterday.

So today when I went to the local supermarket I need to bring my own carrier bag or else I would be charged 5 yen per bag that I need. Usually I always need at least 2 plastic bags when I go shopping for food etc. but this time I need to separate the shopping day into several days unless I want to carry a big bag with me when go shopping.

optician and gym

March 1st 2009

I went to optician to check my eyes and after that to the gym for improving my fitness level.

The result after seeing the optician is that he told me to wear my glasses everytime I do some work in front of computer. Up until now I don’t use the glasses if I feel my eyes are strong enough and only use it when my eyes feel tired. that cause me a fatigue eyes muscle so they failed to make my eyes focus when I need them. I also got some eye drop medicine to use 4 times a day.

since he told me I don’t have to change my glasses it makes my plan to go to the glasses shop after the optician nulled. so I decided to go to the gym then.

I had a very satisfying gym moment today. in the training gym I spent about 2 hours to burn approximately 330 calories. after that went to the pool. to my surprised I met 2 of chinese guy that were also live in the same dormitory that I live in. since we met at the pool so one of the conversation is about health, in this case the body weight. when I told them I was once 100 kilo, one of them said he was too. and I told him that I already lost 30 kilo, he already lost a lot of weight too and reach his ideal weight. and then he asked me did my hair got worsen eg, getting bald etc.

I was surprised so I said yes. I am having a hair problem of getting bald since I came to japan. I thought it was because the japanese food. but he told me he too had the problem with hair. he said it was because of the weight loss. wow this was still new for me. I didn’t know that losing weight could cause baldness. that might be the case that I’m having now.

well, after playing water (I didn’t want to say swim because I couldn’t swim well LoL), I get into sauna and then had some chair massage session before I went home.

since I use the train and the bus to go to the gym. I need to think of something to reduce the money I need to pay for transportation. luckily the bus has some network with several shops. the system is quite hard to explaing but to make the story short, if I buy something from any shops within the network of the city bus for over 500 yen, I can get free bus ride at other day.

so today I went to a drug store and finally bought me some hairtonic spray. talking about the hair problems with the fellow chinese guys is one of the reason I bought the spray.

done neat and nice, now I can get a free bus ride the next time I use the bus.

jalan2 di nagoya

setelah lama ga ke nagoya hari ini sabtu 28 feb akhirnya ada kesempatan jalan2 ke nagoya. berhubung harus datang ke acara interview periodik dari perusahaan seh.

pertama kali sampe seperti biasa visit spot favorit gue ke bic camera terus pas ke toys corner kaget banget. pada ngantreeeeeee panjaaaaaaaang banget dan 1 orang itu sekale beli ampe borong banyaaaaaaaaak banget ampe berdus2 gitu. kaget luar biasa baru sekali ini gue liat pemandangan kek gitu di toys corner. selidik demi selidik ternyata hari ini ada discount 30% + 10% point belanja (jadi kalo diitung2 off 40%) . wah jadi hampir teracuni ingin beli, tapi di rumah aja masi ada 1 robot lagi blon dirakit, apalagi pengeluaran bulan ini sudah boros sangat luar biasa sekale akhirnya bisa diredam deh hasratnya.

next pergi ke kantor ngurus urusan kerjaan. wah ternyata gue melakukan bbrp kesalahan administratif dan harus gue perbaiki buru2 hari senin.

well next, ketemu temen terus makan di chinese restaurant terus ke toko eskrim namanya cold stone. unik banget soalnya kalo ada yang pesen menu paling mahalnya (sekitar 800an yen) itu seluruh pegawai di toko itu bakal menyanyikan lagu cold stone ice cream.

abis itu ama temen balik ke bic camera soalnya katanya dia mo cek harga tripod buat camera. dan hari ini gue baru tau ternyata ada mini tripod gitu pokoknya yang bentuknya kecil banget. wah gue jadi tertarik pengen beli seh. tapi masi pikir2. berhubung gue suka foto2 maenan gue. so dengan punya mini tripod itu bakal bikin foto2 mainan gue bisa diambil dari sudut2 yang susah dengan lebih gampang. maybe gue bakal beli deh itu mini tripod next time.

terus abis itu ke cafe, jalan2 liat alat2 musik terus makan di restoran indonesia. seblon pulang nongkrong lagi di cafe seblon akhirnya pulang.

hari ini habisin banyak duit untuk makanan. well yang penting enjoy dan have fun selagi bisa deh ^_^.
